A list of all clock hands. Clock hands are a mechanism for controlling the process of freeing memory up for re-use.
|What It Shows||Comments|
|Clock hand||This is INTERNAL or EXTERNAL. These have misleading names, and do not necessarily refer to memory pressure internal or external to SQL Server. Internal clock hands respond to local memory pressure, whereas external clock hands respond to global memory pressure (which may be caused by external factors)|
|Rounds||The total number of rounds since the last service restart|
|Removed all rounds||The total number of entries removed since the last service restart|
|Last tick||The time that the hand last "moved"|
|Round start time||When the current round started|
